Meursault Vireuils 2019

Notes of pear, peach, fresh bread, nutmeg and mandarin orange introduce Roulot's 2019 Meursault Vireuils, a medium to full-bodied, racy and chiseled wine that combines ripe fruit with tangy acids in a vintage-typical marriage. This is quite rich for a young Vireuils, but I suspect it will tighten up during another winter on the lees. (WK, 1/2021)
